ExpoMuseum was first created as a web site in 1998. Since then, the site has gone through several incarnations and now receives over 18,000 unique visitors each month. My dream is for ExpoMuseum to someday be a physical museum dedicated to the history of all world expositions in much the same spirit as the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. I'm a graphic designer, living in San Francisco, who has had a passion for world's fairs ever since I was 15 years old and visited the 1982 World's Fair. I have since visited the 1984 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Expo '86, Expo '98, Expo 2000, Expo 2005 and Expo 2008. In November 2004, one of my designs was selected as the winning entry in Expo 2005's Linimo Design Competition. More information is available at UrsoChappell.com.
